José Conde is currently serving as a Student & Healthcare Professional in Training Committee Member for the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved since May 2024. Previously, José was a CHCI-Waymo Public Policy Fellow, gaining extensive experience in public policy and leadership development, while also working as a Health Policy Fellow and Legislative Fellow for the U.S. House of Representatives, focusing on health and related policy areas. Other experiences include roles as a Volunteer Grant Writer for Latinx Voces, a Medical Assistant and Interpreter at Interfaith Of The Woodlands, Medical Training Coordinator for the Raider Medical Screening Society, and positions within Texas Tech University, such as Honors College Lead Ambassador and Undergraduate Research Scholar. José is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, having completed a B.S. in Honors Science & Humanities with a Pre-Medical concentration.
