Kathie Westpheling

Member, National Advisory Council at Association of Clinicians for the Underserved

Kathie Westpheling is a seasoned professional in health administration and public health nutrition with extensive experience in leadership and education. Currently serving as a Board Member at Sarasota Institute of Lifetime Learning Inc and a member of the National Advisory Council for the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved since December 2020, Kathie also holds the position of Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University, overseeing internship placements for senior students in health administration focused on clinical informatics. Previously, Kathie was a manager at HIMSS, leading student internships and experiences as well as public policy efforts from 2008 to November 2019. Between October 1996 and June 2013, Kathie served as the Executive Director for the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved. Additionally, Kathie was the President of the Board of Trustees at the Campbell Hoffman Foundation from January 2004 to May 2011. Kathie holds a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from Simmons University and a Master of Public Health in Public Health Nutrition from the University of California, Berkeley.
