Dr Kate Webb has extensive work experience in the education sector. Dr Kate is currently the Managing Director of The KWP Ltd and a FE Adviser at the Department for Education. In 2020, they served as the Chief Assessor for the AoC Beacon Awards at the Association of Colleges. Previously, they were the Interim Principal & CEO at Brockenhurst College from April 2022 to September 2022. Before that, they held the position of Group Principal & CEO at The Windsor Forest Colleges Group from March 2010 to April 2021. Dr Webb also served as a Board Member and Director at the Thames Valley Berkshire Local Enterprise Partnership from November 2017 to April 2020. Dr Kate has been actively involved with the Association of Colleges, where they held positions such as Joint Chair of the National Joint Forum, Vice Chair, and Board Member from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they held leadership roles at East Berkshire College and Guildford College.
Dr Kate Webb has an extensive educational background. Dr Kate pursued their A levels from 1983 to 1990 at King Edward VI High School for Girls. Dr Kate then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film and Literature from the University of Warwick from 1990 to 1993. In 1993, they furthered their studies at the University of Wolverhampton where they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specializing in Further, Adult and Higher Education, concluding in 1994. Continuing their journey, from 1998 to 1999, Dr Webb pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Film and Drama at the University of Reading. Their educational journey culminated at the University of Reading from 2015 to 2021, where they earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree.
