Liz Maudslay is an experienced professional in the field of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) policy within further education, currently serving as the SEND Policy Manager at the Association of Colleges since September 2014. Previously, Liz worked as a Consultant for Tribal Education, collaborating with educators and government officials in Turkey to develop inclusive education guidelines, and conducted research on the implementation of the Disabled Student Allowance at the Student Loans Company. An education consultant with UNICEF from 2006 to 2010, Liz managed projects and research studies in South Asia. As Policy Director at the National Bureau for Students with Disabilities from 1998 to 2005, significant lobbying efforts for legislative changes were undertaken, alongside comprehensive research initiatives. Liz Maudslay holds a degree from the University of Reading, where studies took place from 1974 to 1978.
