Tom Holmroos

Tom Holmroos is an experienced professional with a diverse background in data management, public affairs, and business development. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer and Senior Advisor at the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities since January 2018, Tom has previously held roles including Development Manager at the Municipality of Siuntio, where responsibilities encompassed IT management and marketing strategy, and Development Manager at If P&C Insurance, focusing on customer strategy, data analytics, and CRM systems. Additional experience includes positions as Business Development Manager for the City of Turku and Senior Advisor at the Finnish Confederation of Professionals STTK, as well as serving as a Political Advisor in the European Parliament. Tom holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Turku and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Information Technology from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
