Drake Hernandez is an Associate Principal in the Energy Practice at Charles River Associates, where tenure extends from 2017 to the present, having progressed from Analyst to Associate and then Senior Associate. Currently, Drake serves as Co-Chair of the Model Contract Drafting Committee for hydrogen initiatives at the Association of International Energy Negotiators and holds the role of Co-Rapporteur on the Hydrogen Task Force. Previous research experience includes a position as a Graduate Researcher at the MIT Energy Initiative, specializing in the techno-economics of hydrogen. Drake's notable contributions encompass co-authoring the chemical energy storage chapter in the MIT Future of Storage Report and architecting techno-economic analysis modules for the Sustainable Energy System Analysis Modelling Environment.
