Mike Beirne

Mike Beirne is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with over two decades of experience in commercial negotiation and management. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Manager at Hess Corporation since 2011, Mike holds prior roles within the company, including Commercial Manager and Lead/Senior Negotiator, focusing on global exploration, new ventures, developments, and production. Additionally, Mike is the President-Elect and a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of International Energy Negotiators since May 2018. Previous experience includes positions as a Commercial Negotiator at BP from 2006 to 2011 and as a Negotiator at Chevron from 2002 to 2006, concentrating on onshore and offshore projects in the United States, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mike holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) from the University of Kentucky.
