Gyyoung Oh, MA, currently serves as a Medical Illustrator and Animator at LifeBridge Health, focusing on creating illustrations and animations for patient and physician education within the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics and Sinai Hospital. Additionally, Gyyoung holds the position of Vice Chair on the Awards Committee of the Association of Medical Illustrators. Gyyoung's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Medical and Biological Illustration from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, complemented by studies at the Schuler School of Fine Arts and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Previous professional experiences include roles as a Graduate Student at The Johns Hopkins University, a Crew Member at Trader Joe's, and a Dermatology Medical Assistant at Advanced Dermatology.
