Alison Hernandez is an experienced leader in public safety and community engagement, currently serving as the Joint Portfolio Lead for Serious and Organised Crime at the Association of Police and Crime Commissioners since July 2021, while also holding the position of Police and Crime Commissioner at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall since May 2016. Hernandez has a diverse background that includes roles such as Chief of Staff for Kevin Foster MP, Campaign Manager for Torbay Conservatives, and consultant for The Universal Improvement Company, specializing in organizational improvement across various sectors. With a strong foundation in training and advising on digital and social media, as well as regional crime reduction, Hernandez has effectively managed strategic partnerships and improved local government initiatives. Educational qualifications include a BSC (hons) in Sociology from Kingston University and an Advanced Certificate in Marketing from Plymouth Business School.
