Msn Katie Swinyer Rnc-Nic

Katie Swinyer, MSN, RNC-NIC, serves as the Senior Manager of Neonatal Programs at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) since April 2022. Katie has extensive experience at Elliot Hospital, holding the positions of Registered Nurse, NICU Unit Educator, and NICU Resource Nurse since September 2013. Responsibilities include providing just-in-time education to staff and overseeing clinical resources on designated units. Additionally, Katie contributed as a NCC Volunteer Item Writer from July 2017 to December 2020, developing test items for the Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse certification exam. Previous experience includes working as a Staff Nurse in the Intensive Care Nursery at Children's Hospital at Dartmouth from July 2007 to August 2013. Katie holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Education from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College.
