Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)
Sarah Copple MSN, RNC-MNN, C-ONQS serves as the Director of Perinatal Programs and Manager of Clinical Program Development at the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) since August 2021. Additionally, Sarah is a Scientific Advisory Committee Team Member for the American Red Cross since May 2022. Prior to these roles, Sarah gained extensive experience at UnityPoint Health-Des Moines as a Clinical Education Specialist in Maternity Services from September 1999 to August 2021, and as a Registered Nurse in the Adult Behavioral Health Unit at Broadlawns Medical Center from September 1998 to September 1999. Sarah holds a Masters of Science Degree in Nursing Education from Walden University (2015-2018), a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Walden University (2012-2014), and an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Mercy College of Health Sciences (1996-1998).
