Jack Keeney

Jack Keeney, Jr. serves as the General Counsel for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since May 2015, providing comprehensive legal advice. Prior to this role, Jack Keeney was the Director of the Barbara McDowell Appellate Advocacy Project at the Legal Aid Society from January 2011 to December 2014. Jack Keeney also held a significant position as a Partner at Hogan & Hartson from September 1978 to January 2011. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School (1973-1976) and an A.B. in Government from the University of Notre Dame (1969-1973). Early education was completed at Good Counsel High School (1965-1969) and St. Catherine Laboure Elementary (1959-1965).
