Sofia Carta

Sofia Carta serves as the Head Sommelier at Forte Village Resort since May 2013 and holds the title of Maitre and Sommelier professionista. Additionally, Sofia has been an Official Taster with the Associazione Italiana Sommelier since February 2017. Previous experience includes management roles at Rafael Cafe in Porto Rafael, Sardinia, and as Maitre d'Hotel at Hotel Pellicano d'Oro. Sofia's educational background includes qualifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the Istituto Alberghiero Sassari, with a degree in Sommelier Professionista from Associazione Italiana Sommelier and a Técnico Assaggiatore di Salumi certification from Onas.
