Alessandro Tuzi

Alessandro Tuzi is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in the fields of oncology and internal medicine. Currently serving as a permanent medical director in the COVID Hub and Internal Medicine at ASST dei Sette Laghi since February 2013, Alessandro has been pivotal in treating patients during the pandemic and has also worked in the emergency department. Previously, Alessandro worked as an oncologist and researcher at CRO Aviano, where involvement included clinical aspects of research protocols and the development of nano-technologies. Initial training occurred at Policlinico Umberto I as a medical resident in oncology, participating in numerous national and international research protocols. Alessandro holds a medical degree from Sapienza University of Rome and a specialization in Medical Oncology from the same institution.
