Alan Pauwels

Alan Pauwels is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations, social media management, and translation. Since August 2007, Alan has been employed at Assuralia as an advisor for media and communications, focusing on social media content management and translation. Alan served as a municipal councilor for Gemeente en OCMW Overijse from January 2019 to September 2021, ensuring that the municipal council made decisions in the best interest of the residents and kept them informed. Previous roles include external relations manager at Suter NV and head of the translation department at the Parket procureur des Konings in Brussels in 1996. Alan holds a licenciateship in translation from HUB, specializing in Dutch, French, and Spanish, and has pursued various professional development courses in writing for social media and communication strategies.
