Christian Formby

Christian Formby is the President of Assurant Europe, where leadership focuses on developing business strategies for sustainable growth and enhancing customer experiences. With extensive experience in the insurance sector, Christian previously held positions including Senior Vice President of Global Property International and President & CEO of Assurant Solutions entities in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Before joining Assurant, Christian served as Senior Vice President at Marsh, overseeing institutional risk management, and worked as a Risk Management Analyst at Goldman Sachs, managing complex insurance programs. Early career experience includes a role as a Risk Management Consultant at EY. Christian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Boston University and an MBA in Risk Management & Insurance from St. John's University.
