Neema Katibai

Neema Katibai, J.D. is currently serving as the Associate General Counsel at Assurant since April 2024. Previously, Katibai held the position of Manager of Government and Insurance Affairs at the Michigan Dental Association from July 2021 to April 2024 and served as Legislative Director for the 76th District at the Michigan House of Representatives from August 2020 to July 2021. Katibai gained additional legislative experience as a Legislative Fellow in the office of former State Representative Robert Wittenberg from January 2020 to April 2020. Early career roles include Law Clerk positions at White Law PLLC and Legal Services of South Central Michigan, as well as serving as a Tax Clinician at the Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law (2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Detroit Mercy (2017). Neema Katibai completed high school education at West Bloomfield High School, graduating in 2013.
