Arturo Pérez

Arturo Pérez has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Arturo is currently the Director of Space Engineering at AST SpaceMobile since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Anuvu for six years as the Director of Eastern Hemisphere Teleports, responsible for managing the teleport infrastructure and operations. Arturo also worked at Emerging Markets Communications for nine years, where they held various roles, including Global Teleports Engineering Manager and Global Operations Center Manager. In these roles, they managed and trained international teams, ensured service availability, and handled service assurance and customer escalations. Arturo has experience in troubleshooting satellite links, configuring equipment, and providing technical support.

Arturo Pérez pursued their education at the University of Buenos Aires from 2002 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering. In 2011, they completed a postgraduate course in Fiber Optics Networks at the same institution. In 2016, they attended the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires for a postgraduate course in Project Management. Additionally, Arturo has obtained several certifications, including the PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management, the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management, and the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management.
