Tal Amir has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the IT field. In their current role as Senior IT Lead at AST SpaceMobile, they are responsible for leading the IT team. Prior to this, they worked at Genpact as an IT Manager and Senior Information Technology Manager. At STMF LTD, they held the position of IT Manager. They served as the Director of IT at Nova-Lumos, overseeing IT operations across multiple branches. Tal Amir also co-founded Whatsup.org.il, the largest Linux and Open source community site in Israel. They gained experience as an IT Manager (Freelance) at the Israeli Garage Association. Additionally, they held roles such as Projects Manager at Artist Pension Trust, Director of Operations at Mutualart, and Owner of CompuTec Systems INC, where they provided IT services and managed network services for businesses. Overall, Tal Amir has extensive experience in IT management and has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of IT operations, infrastructure management, and project management.

Tal Amir attended Sivan Technologies in 1996-1997 and obtained a certification in Computers. From 1984 to 1990, they studied at Tequn Katzir Rchovot and earned a Bachelor's degree in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. In addition, Tal received the IBM OpenPower Engineer certification from IBM in 2005.
