Tom Berko

Tom Berko is a seasoned System Engineer currently employed at AST SpaceMobile since May 2024. Previously, Berko held roles as a System Engineer and System Integration Engineer at Airspan Networks from April 2017 to May 2024. Prior to that, Berko served as a Satellite Communication Engineer at IDF from December 2014 to March 2017, focusing on the development of efficient signal allocation processes through algorithm creation. Earlier experience includes a position as a UAV System Engineer at the Directorate of Defense R&D, IMOD, from May 2011 to December 2014, where Berko initiated and managed R&D projects while enhancing ground control systems for UAVs. Berko holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earned between 2006 and 2010.
