Steven Leidenfrost

Steven Leidenfrost is the current CFO at Asta Funding. Prior to this, they were a consultant at CFO Consulting Partners and an executive director at Morgan Stanley. At Morgan Stanley, they were in charge of managing relationships, control framework and change initiatives between the Tax and Finance departments, supporting the consolidated and separate legal entity tax provisions and ensuring compliance with accounting for income taxes. Steven has also provided financial reporting expertise, accounting advice and subject matter expertise in U.S. GAAP. In addition, they have collaborated on tax reform initiatives and implementation of new accounting standards.

Steven Leidenfrost attended Manhattan College, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems. Steven then attended Pace University - Lubin School of Business, where they received a Master of Business Administration in Financial Management and Information Systems. Steven is also certified by the New York State Education Department as a Certified Public Accountant.
