Cheryl Parsons

Cheryl Parsons is a seasoned Data Migration Specialist Lead at Astadia, an Amdocs company, since March 2023, focusing on migrating mainframe databases such as ADABAS, IMS, and DB2 to various cloud solutions including PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Previously, Cheryl served as a Mainframe Consultant at Astadia, specializing in data architecture for cloud solutions. Prior to that, Cheryl held the position of System Engineering Manager at GEICO for over 24 years, where significant achievements included coordinating a mainframe retirement and working extensively as a mainframe architect. Earlier experience includes a role as a Database Administrator at Deloitte, contributing to the RAPIDS DHHR project with DB2 database management. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Marshall University.
