Jambul Makhmetov

Jambul Makhmetov is an experienced finance and management professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Finance at Astana Hub since September 2020. Prior to this role, Jambul held the positions of Head of Economics and Finance Department and Head of SEZ Participants and Government Relations Department at the Management Company of Special Economic Zone «NIPT» from July 2016 to August 2019. Jambul's career also includes experience at Deloitte CIS as a Senior Audit Assistant and Audit Lead Assistant from September 2013 to July 2016, where responsibilities included leading audit engagements and reviewing clients' financial procedures. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Nazarbayev University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University, and an Associate’s Degree in Commerce from Columbia College.
