Edgar Montoya

Edgar Montoya is an accomplished professional in the field of manufacturing and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing Engineering at ASTEC since May 2022. Previously, Edgar held the position of Manufacturing Manager at Hendrickson from March 2019 to May 2022 and served as Logistics Sr. Manager at Hyundai MOBIS from August 2017 to February 2019. Edgar's extensive experience at John Deere spans from 2000 to 2017, where roles included Production Control Manager, Senior Materials Engineer, and Assembly Senior Engineer, among others. Edgar's career began as a Kanban Coordinator at John Deere from February 1998 to February 2000 and as a Production and Facilities Supervisor at Lajat Textil, SA de CV from February 1996 to February 1998. Edgar holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering, both from Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna.
