Kyle Kalbus

Kyle Kalbus has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Kyle began their career as a Quality Control Technician at U.S. Chemical, where they ensured adherence to specifications and performed rework scenarios. Kyle then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they instructed and prepared metallurgical lab sessions.

Moving on, Kyle served as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at GE Healthcare, supporting continuous improvement efforts on a new production line. Kyle later joined Modis as a Test Technician at Milwaukee Electric Tool, developing test setups and certifications for new product development.

Afterwards, Kyle worked at Metallurgical Associates as a Metallurgical Engineer, offering material engineering support and performing failure analysis. Kyle then joined GKN Powder Metallurgy as a Metallurgist, overseeing manufacturing quality control and optimizing operations.

Kyle continued their career as a Product Compliance Engineer at Rockwell Automation, where they created and renewed certifications and supported product compliance through observation of testing. Kyle later joined Mid-City Foundry Co. as a Metallurgist/Quality Engineer, managing laboratory and inspection operations.

Before their current role, Kyle worked as a Sr. Hardware Development Test Engineer at Rockwell Automation, providing testing coordination efforts and optimizing testing procedures. Currently, they are working as a Test Engineer at ASTEC, developing a product verification and validation program.

Throughout their career, Kyle has consistently focused on ensuring product quality, complying with industry and internal standards, and optimizing operations through continuous improvement processes.

Kyle Kalbus has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Kyle also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. In addition to their formal education, Kyle has obtained several certifications, including "Access Basics for Excel Users," "Excel Essential Training (Office 365/Microsoft 365)," "Find a Job in the Hidden Job Market," "Introduction to Mill and Lathe Operation," "Learning Mastercam," "LinkedIn Learning Highlights: Finding a Job and Managing Your Career," "Managing Your Career as an Introvert," "Learning Minitab," and "Python Quick Start." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent certifications obtained in November and December of 2020.
