Shahrad Rahmani

Shahrad Rahmani is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in design and mechanical engineering, currently serving as Design Engineering Manager and previously as Principal Design Engineer at Astech Projects in the Robotics & Automation sector since May 2022. Prior to this role, Shahrad held positions at ConvaTec as Senior Development Engineer from April 2020 to May 2022, and at Henrob Corporation, part of the Atlas Copco Group, as Senior Mechanical Engineer from June 2017 to April 2020. Additionally, Shahrad worked as Senior Stress Analysis Engineer at Technomot Ltd from May 2011 to April 2020. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester (2009-2010), a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from The University of Salford (2004-2009), and an Avionics degree from the Institute of Technology, Carlow (2007-2008).
