Anna Pettersson

Anna Pettersson has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 1998, they were the Head of the Biotechnology and Medical Device Group at Global Prior Art. Anna then worked as an Associate at Booz & Company from 2001 to 2002, followed by a role as an Analyst at Mehta Partners from 2002 to 2004. Anna then joined Mount Sinai School of Medicine as a Senior Licensing Associate from 2004 to 2005 and later became the Manager of Business Development from 2009 to 2010. From 2005 to 2012, they were a Principal at Booz & Company. Anna then moved to Pfizer, where they held various Senior Director positions in research and development strategy, scientific technology operations, and innovation policy from 2012 to 2021. After that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd from 2021 to 2022. Anna's most recent work experience includes being the Director of Client Service US at Genioo from April 2022 to November 2022 and currently, as the Head of AGT Strategy & Project Management at Astellas Gene Therapies.

Anna Pettersson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Uppsala, which they attended from 1987 to 1991. Anna then pursued a Ph.D. in Genetics at the Karolinska Institutet from 1992 to 1995. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, Anna obtained a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington.
