Jun Li

Jun Li currently serves as the Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Astellas Pharma since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jun Li was the Director of Bioinformatics at Regor Therapeutics Group from January 2022 to October 2022, where responsibilities included leading AI platform development for target identification and drug discovery. Previous experience includes serving as Associate Director of Bioinformatics at Ziopharm Oncology in 2021 and working as a Computational Scientist at MD Anderson Cancer Center from June 2015 to January 2021. Jun Li began a career in bioinformatics as a Bioinformatics Research Analyst at THE SAMUEL ROBERTS NOBLE FOUNDATION, INC from January 2009 to June 2015. Jun Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, earned between 2002 and 2008.
