Niels van Hassel

Niels van Hassel is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Business Unit Director for Oncology at Astellas BeNeLux since October 2021. With a strong background at Astellas, Niels has also held the positions of Sr. Product Manager in Hematology and Regional Brand Manager for Oncology & Pain across the Middle East and North Africa. Niels' responsibilities have included leading brand development and strategic marketing initiatives, along with managing the oncology franchise in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Prior experience includes roles at Eurodrug Laboratories, Roche Nederland, and Altana Pharma, spanning various therapeutic areas and marketing responsibilities. Niels holds a Master's degree in Human Development from SUAS and has completed additional education at renowned institutions.
