Sumiho Nakatsu

Sumiho Nakatsu is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Strategy & Intelligence Team Lead and Manager at the Rx+ Business Accelerator of アステラス製薬 since October 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Venture Partner at DigiTx Partners and Associate Manager at Astellas Pharma US, along with various positions at アステラス製薬 within the Rx+ Business Accelerator and Japan-Asia Clinical Development teams. Sumiho's academic credentials include a PhD in Virology from The University of Tokyo, supplemented by a visiting scientist position at The European Molecular Biology Laboratory, a Master's degree in Virology from The University of Tokyo, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biological Science from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
