Dan Elgort

Daniel Elgort has an extensive work experience history in the field of data analytics and research in the healthcare industry. Daniel is currently working as the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Aster Insights since 2022. Prior to this, they were an Advisor at Covera Health starting from 2017 and has held various roles including Chief Science Officer, Chief Data Science and AI Officer, and Vice President of Healthcare Data Analytics and Research at the same company. Daniel also worked as a Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners and Vice President of Healthcare Data Analytics and Research at Spreemo Health. Moreover, they served as a Mentor at Blueprint Health LLC, Principal Research Scientist, Director, and Global Lead for Healthcare Big Data Analytics Research at Philips Research, and a Technical Consultant at Conexus Capital Management Inc. Daniel began their career as an Interventional MRI Intern at Siemens Medical Solutions in 2002.

Daniel Elgort obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, and Business from The Johns Hopkins University from 1996 to 2000. Daniel then pursued a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 2000 to 2005. In 2015, they received a certification as a Certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Agilist (SA) from Scaled Agile, Inc.
