Suresh Sankaralingam has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Suresh is currently the Head of DV and Emulation at Astera Labs, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pensando Systems as an ASIC Engineer from January 2017 to March 2021. Suresh also served as an ASIC Engineer at Barefoot Networks from July 2014 to January 2017. Before joining Barefoot Networks, Suresh worked at Cisco, where they held the role of Senior ASIC Manager from May 2008 to July 2014, and MTS from April 2006 to May 2008. Suresh began their career at Juniper Networks as an MTS from 2000 to 2006. Prior to Juniper Networks, they worked at HaL Computer Systems as a Design Verification Engineer from 1998 to 1999, and at HCL Technologies as an R&D Engineer from 1995 to 1997.
Suresh Sankaralingam attended Bharathiar University from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Stanford University to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
