Ben Dorset

Benjamin Dorset is an Apprentice Software Developer at Suffolk Fire & Rescue since September 2022, demonstrating a commitment to software development. Concurrently, Benjamin has been with Asteroid Mining Corporation Ltd since May 2018, serving as both Head of Astronomy and Chief Science Officer. Previous experience includes roles such as Accounts Assistant at C & C Restaurant Group, General Manager at Rotunda Bar and Diner, and various positions in the hospitality sector including Bar Staff and Manager at Shepeard Neame, and Waiter/Kitchen Assistant at The Shipwreck. Academic qualifications include an MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Kent (2014-2018) and A-Levels in Physics, Maths, Computing, and Electronics from Suffolk One (2012-2014).
