Rachel Scheckman, MPH, MLS (ASCP) is a seasoned professional in public health policy and laboratory science, currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials since August 2021. Expertise includes policy research on HIV and access to care, and coordination with various health organizations. Previous roles encompass a Public Policy Internship at the Massachusetts Public Health Association, a Database Manager position at Boston University School of Public Health, and Policy Internships in the Massachusetts State Senate. Additionally, Rachel has significant laboratory experience from positions at Dominion Diagnostics and CharterCARE Health Partners, and has a solid foundation in customer service and emergency response management from earlier roles in security and retail. Rachel holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the University of Rhode Island.
