Hussein Vastani

Hussein Vastani is a seasoned Sr. Software Engineer at Advanced Simulation Technology Inc. since July 2004, contributing to the design and development of a variety of products, including audio and communication systems, simulation modeling, live to virtual radio bridging, serious games, and live communications. Previously, at the Virginia BioInformatics Institute from August 2002 to June 2004, Vastani developed the web-based software package 'DVD' for modeling biochemical networks and implemented 'S2VD' for analyzing murine coronavirus strains. Additionally, from January 2002 to May 2004, research as a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech focused on enhancing the Web-CAT automated grading system for improved interaction by teaching assistants. Hussein Vastani holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, earned between 1998 and 2004.
