Sugat Dhara

Sugat Dhara is a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in macroeconomic research and quantitative trading. Currently serving as a Senior Macro Quant Researcher at Astignes Capital since October 2024, Sugat focuses on systematic FX options trading. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager at 360 ONE from September 2020 to June 2024, where responsibilities included macro trading, risk management, and developing analytical strategies in Python. Sugat's experience also encompasses positions at Pilgrim Partners Asia, ANZ, Brevan Howard, Millennium Partners, Murex, and early roles in project management and as a management trainee. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
