Shakil Ahmed Sumon

Shakil Ahmed Sumon is a skilled research analyst and data scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Research Analyst 3 at Oregon State University since November 2024, Shakil previously worked as a Graduate Assistant at the same institution, where significant contributions included enhancing the automation of HP's printing process and improving commonsense reasoning in Large Language Models through innovative research. As a Graduate Data Analyst for the University Innovation Alliance, Shakil led efforts to aggregate data for analysis and developed data-driven strategies to enhance student retention and graduation rates.
