Deborah Seymour

Deborah Seymour is the Owner and Principal of Higher Education Innovation Consulting, LLC, since October 2016, where consulting services are provided to various educational stakeholders, focusing on innovation, research, and strategic growth. Currently, Deborah serves as a Subcommittee Member for ASTM International, contributing to the development of Standard Practice for Work-Based Learning Programs. Previous roles include Vice President of Programs and Research at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, and Chief Academic Innovation Officer at the American Council on Education, where leadership was provided to the Center for Education Attainment and Innovation. Deborah's extensive experience also includes executive positions at Laureate International Universities and earlier roles at 92nd Street Y. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Theoretical Linguistics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, a Certificate in Leading for Organizational Impact from the Center for Creative Leadership, and a BA in Mass Communications, Economics, and Business Administration from Hunter College.
