Simon Gardner

Simon Gardner is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the Formula One industry. Currently serving as the Head of Structures and Materials at Aston Martin F1 Team since April 2019, Simon focuses on enhancing departmental capabilities and efficiency. Previously, Simon held the role of Head of Structures at Sahara Force India Formula One Team since January 2005, where responsibilities evolved following a successful season in 2014. Earlier career roles include Design Analyst at Jordan F1 and Product Design Engineer at SGB. Simon holds a PhD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
