Marius Kelechi

Marius Kelechi is an experienced safety professional currently serving as Group HSE Manager at Astra Polymers since February 2019, where responsibilities include providing logistics safety support and liaising with authorities for clearances and permits. Prior to this role, Marius was Lead HSE Engineer at Schroeder Projekt Electromechanical, contributing to the construction and commissioning of the largest FMCG mega plant in the Middle East. Marius also held the position of Senior Officer EHS at Advanced Facilities Management UAE, focusing on facility inspections and safety assessments. Earlier experience includes working as an HSE Engineer for Shell Nigeria, where training development and risk assessment were key responsibilities. Marius holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, a Higher National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Management & Technology, and an International Diploma in Safety Engineering Management from Proftech Leading Institute.
