Ann Kays Tsuji

Ann Kays Tsuji, Ph.D. is a seasoned professional in the field of translational medicine and diagnostics, currently serving as Director of Translational Medicine Project Management at AstraZeneca since May 2024. Previously, Tsuji held the role of Director of R&D and PMO at Leica Biosystems from October 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included leading companion diagnostics development and managing alliances within the Pharma Partnerships group. Tsuji's earlier roles include significant positions at Foundation Medicine, Novartis Companion Diagnostics, Beckman Coulter, Biohelix Corporation, and the Whitehead Institute, focusing on assay development, program management, and technical leadership in diagnostic innovations. Tsuji earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a BS in Biology from Sweet Briar College.
