Antonio Llinas

Antonio Llinas is a highly experienced professional in the field of drug product development, currently serving as Director DMPK and Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca since January 2018. In this role, Antonio leads the Formulation and Biopharmaceutics team in Inhaled Product Development, overseeing all formulation development activities for inhalation programs and leveraging extensive expertise in pharmaceutics and biopharmaceutics. Prior to this, Antonio held various positions at AstraZeneca R&D, including Principal Scientist and DMPK Design Leader, as well as leadership roles at the University of Cambridge and University of Huddersfield. Antonio's academic foundation in physical chemistry was established at the University of Cambridge, contributing to a robust career spanning multiple institutions and responsibilities.
