Eike Caldeweyher

Eike Caldeweyher is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data engineering and quantum chemistry. Currently serving as the Chemistry Data Tech Lead at AstraZeneca since September 2020, Eike oversees big data projects, leads a multidisciplinary engineering team, and collaborates with external vendors on business requirements. Previous roles at AstraZeneca include Associate Principal Data Engineer, responsible for developing a standardized Apache Airflow data pipeline, and Postdoctoral Research Associate, where Eike contributed to a hybrid quantum chemical machine learning model that resulted in a high-impact publication.
