Jagdish Shetty

Jagdish Shetty currently serves as the Global Development Medical Director and previously held the position of Senior Project Scientist in Immuno-Oncology at AstraZeneca since August 2016. Prior to this role, Jagdish was the Cancer Research Coordinator at the University of Maryland Medical System from March 2006 to July 2016, where responsibilities included leading numerous Phase I, II, and III research studies, overseeing protocols for various cancer research, and managing communication regarding patient safety data. Early in the career, experiences included teaching anatomy at the Armed Forces Medical College, serving as a Resident Doctor at Bharati Hospital, and working in orthopedic management at Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital and Cancer Institute. Jagdish Shetty earned a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from The University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Bharati Vidyapeeth's Medical College.
