Jelena Stanisavljevic

Jelena Stanisavljevic is an accomplished professional in the fields of oncology and precision medicine, currently serving as Associate Director of Diagnostic Project Management at AstraZeneca since July 2025. In addition, Jelena holds the position of Communications and Marketing Liaison at the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association since March 2024. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Research Associate and Project Leader at ICFO, where leadership of a cross-disciplinary team focused on cancer pathology was instrumental, alongside extensive grant writing and mentorship responsibilities. In mid-2023, Jelena worked as a Clinical Project Manager at Hospital del Mar Research Institute, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts across Europe. Prior work at IRB Barcelona as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher involved significant discoveries in colorectal cancer and the development of innovative protocols for digital pathology. Educational credentials include an EIT Health workshop in Empowering Women Leadership in Health Innovation from IESE Business School and a Postgraduate Program in Biotech and Pharmaceutical Industry from IQS Barcelona.
