Joanne T. Walker

Joanne T. Walker has extensive experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Director of Global Regulatory CMC at AstraZeneca since December 2001. In this role, Joanne is responsible for defining the content and scope of various critical regulatory documents. Previous positions at AstraZeneca include senior management roles in Quality Assurance, leading cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance in product initiatives and analytical services. Joanne's career began at DuPont Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included providing analytical support, preparing global registration dossiers, and developing stability-indicating methods. Early in the career, Joanne gained research experience as an intern at The Wistar Institute. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Analytical Chemistry from West Chester University and a Lean Six Sigma Certificate from Villanova University.
