Zana Mariano

Zana Mariano currently serves as the Informed Consent Development Manager and Global Study Associate at AstraZeneca since May 2023, where responsibilities include supporting the Global Study Director and leading the establishment of the electronic Trial Master File (eTMF). Previously, Zana held the position of Research Manager for the FAST-NAWC Trial at St. Michael's Hospital from October 2007 to November 2022, overseeing a significant multicenter randomized control trial funded by a $1.3 million CIHR grant. In addition, Zana worked as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator IV in the Department of Cardiology, managing various trials and engaging in study start-up activities, including research ethics and contract negotiations. Zana's educational background includes a pre-PhD in Demography and Population Studies from American University, a Clinical Management Certificate from The Michener Institute, a Master of Arts from Schiller International University, and a BA (Honours) from Western University.
