Sujeong Yang

Sujeong Yang serves as a Senior Scientist and Subject Matter Expert for Fibre application at Astrea Bioseparations since December 2020, focusing on tech transfer for downstream processing of prion protein clearance and leading projects related to Lentivirus production. Prior to this role, Sujeong held various positions at the University of Cambridge from June 2009 to October 2020, including ARUK Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher, contributing to significant advancements in gene therapies for dementia and neurodegenerative diseases, employing a wide range of in vivo and biochemical methods. Sujeong Yang earned a PhD in Veterinary Biomedical and Clinical Sciences and an MPhil in Veterinary Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
