Vincent Chong Hon Heng

Vincent Chong Hon Heng has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Starting in 1982, they worked as a Process Control Technician at General Electric Television and Appliances Pte Ltd, where they were responsible for quality control and supervision of operators. From 1983 to 1994, they worked at Singapore Telecom Ltd., first as a Field Technician and later as a Technical Officer II, overseeing the installation and maintenance of network equipment.

In 1994, Vincent joined Jebsen & Jessen Communications (S) Pte Ltd as a Project Engineer, providing technical support and managing customer equipment deliveries. Vincent Chong then moved on to JR Communication Consultants Pte. Ltd. c/o MCI USA, where they worked as a Global Technical Support (GTS) Engineer, offering support services to MCI customers.

Vincent joined Verizon Communications Singapore Pte Ltd in 1999 as a Supervisor in Network Operations, managing the data center, co-lo customer support, and customer records. In 2016, they joined NorthTelecom Pte Ltd as a Network Management & Operation Center (NMOC) Engineer, responsible for satellite communication services.

Most recently, Vincent has been working at Astreya since 2018 as a Project Coordinator - Team Lead, where they play a vital role in coordinating projects and leading a team.

Vincent Chong Hon Heng obtained a Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications from Singapore Polytechnic in the period between 1988 and 1992. Vincent Chong also pursued studies in Radio And Line Transmission at City And Guilds Of London Institute from 1980 to 1981. Furthermore, they pursued studies in Electronics Engineering at Singapore Technical Institute from 1979 to 1980, and completed a course in Electronics Servicing at Jurong Vocational Institute from 1978 to 1979.
