Ricky Leung

Ricky Leung is an experienced professional in cybersecurity, analytics, and technology innovation, currently serving as Deputy Director and Senior Manager at ASTRI - Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute since May 2018. Ricky has initiated and managed R&D projects in Cybersecurity and Fintech, leading teams of experts in diverse fields including Blockchain, machine learning, and data analytics. Notable achievements include providing consultancy for crypto-asset exchanges, developing risk assessments, and facilitating collaborative projects with various stakeholders including government and industry partners. Ricky has prior experience as Project Manager at LSCM R&D Centre and Infotronic Technology Limited, and co-founded ITOK Technologies Limited, demonstrating a solid background in technology development and project management. Ricky holds a Master of Philosophy in Computer Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from City University of Hong Kong.
